Erm, I suppose if you're reading this, you'd like to know a bit about me. That or you're bored. Maybe the latter. ^_~ Well, as you can see I'm 23, I'm female (and very, *very* happily taken, thank you! ^_^) and I'm English. I'm mad about things Japanese (so much so that I upped sticks and moved there for a year! ^_^) be it anime, architecture, history or whatever. I play a lot of videogames and watch a selective amount of TV. If by "selective" you mean 24 hour news channels. ^_~

Japan is my extra-curricular country of choice, but my academic life has been centred on ancient Egypt. Why I chose to do a degree in it is anyone's guess, but it certainly was interesting. ^__^ And yes, I can read hieroglyphs. ^_~

I'm also very interested in religion and philosophy. I'm a Christian, but I don't particularly like the idea of Christian denominations, so I'd rather not tie myself down to just one. I'm also very, very interested in comparisons between religions and I would love to talk to anyone of a similar disposition! I've met many fascinating people following Buddhist, Pagan, Islamic and other faiths and learnt so much about our world from them. So if you have an open mind and a respect for the beliefs of others, feel free to add me!
